The installation of the regulating valve is a critical part of the entire system construction, and its installation quality is directly related to the commissioning effect and performance of the regulating valve. The following are several important aspects that need special attention during the installation of the regulating valve:

First, before installing the regulating valve, it is necessary to ensure that there is no dust and impurities inside the valve. These tiny particles may cause irreversible damage to the valve seat and internal parts, thereby affecting the normal operation of the valve. Therefore, before installation, we should carefully remove the accumulated dust on the valve and keep it clean during the installation process. In order to protect the cleanliness of the valve, it is usually recommended to install the cover plate on the end of the open flange that is not welded on the same day.

Secondly, the installation direction of the regulating valve is also very important. The arrow on the valve body should always point to the flow direction of the medium, which is the basis for ensuring the normal operation of the regulating valve.

As a precision component, the regulating valve is extremely sensitive to pipeline deformation. Therefore, during the installation process, we need to ensure that the connection between the flange and the pipeline is vertical and accurately positioned to prevent pipeline deformation from adversely affecting the regulating valve. At the same time, the pipeline should be properly supported to avoid bending and deformation under the weight of the valve.

In addition, special care must be taken when welding the regulating valve to the pipeline. The stress and welding slag generated during welding may damage the regulating valve. In order to eliminate stress, we should strictly follow the operating procedures for welding and ensure that the welding slag does not splash into the valve.

During the pipeline pressure test and blow-off, it is recommended to temporarily remove the regulating valve and connect it with the corresponding straight pipe section to prevent welding slag, iron cuttings and other debris from getting stuck between the valve core and the valve seat. At the same time, the end of the removed regulating valve opening flange should be firmly wrapped with plastic cloth to prevent the intrusion of dust and impurities.
