Lined Valve Things to note when installing

1. During installation, check whether the markings of the PTFE-lined valve (such as valve type, nominal diameter, pressure level, material, etc.) are consistent with the use requirements, and whether the flow direction marking on the shell is consistent with the flow direction of the pipeline.
2. During installation, try to install it horizontally with the valve stem facing upward. Prevent the PTFE-lined valve from tilting. Install the valve in a natural state to prevent the valve from generating large installation stress due to pipelines, supports, etc. The hand wheel shall not be used for valve lifting during installation and lifting.

3. During installation, if the pipe flange sealing surface connected to the fluoroplastic lining sealing surface at both ends of the valve is metal, a fluoroplastic sealing gasket shall be added.
4. If the pipeline has sufficient strength to withstand the weight and operating torque of the valve, the PTFE-lined valve can be supported without support. Otherwise, a special support point shall be set for the fluoroplastic-lined valve.
5. After installation, when the system or pipeline is pressure tested, the PTFE-lined valve shall be in the fully open position.
