The Road To Success For Valve Companies
There is a big gap between my country's Lined Valve industry and foreign companies in terms of industrial structure, industrial chain of valve industry, and the degree of specialization of the industry. How to overcome these shortcomings is a crucial issue for the development of the industry.
1. Strengthen certification to accelerate industry integration
As a special product, valves are used to support various engineering projects. In the past two years, with the continuous deepening of the domestic engineering project bidding system, TS certification has gradually become an important condition for market access. The valve industry has also seen a phenomenon of ice and fire. Large enterprises cannot complete orders, while small enterprises cannot get orders. The entire valve industry has thus seen a rapid integration phenomenon.
With the launch of the second pipeline project of the "West-East Gas Transmission" and the launch of a large number of national projects such as environmental protection and pollution control, coupled with a large number of foreign orders entering the country, the market of the valve industry has continued to expand, and the market prospects are very promising, but TS certification is an important "threshold". If you don't have a TS certificate and want orders, you can only join a large group company or multiple companies for integration. But to join a large enterprise group, you must first integrate and standardize small enterprises.
2. Brand promotion requires integration
Most products in the valve industry are of low grade and have a large variety of repetitive products. Many enterprises often produce all kinds of valves, with many varieties and specifications. They produce whatever the market needs and put into production whatever they want. Some enterprises lack innovation, let alone products with independent intellectual property rights. Some still copy and imitate other people's products. Enterprises do not have their own brand products. They are like going down the same road, not to mention growing and developing. They are simply unable to cope with the fierce market competition.
In this case, these enterprises urgently need to change their business methods and ways of thinking. They can completely join forces to integrate and create brands.
3. Enterprise development needs integration
Although the valve industry has partially completed the original capital accumulation, there are still many problems, such as the increasingly fierce price war, quality problems that need to be improved, etc., coupled with the implementation of the new "Labor Law", as well as the changes in the RMB exchange rate and the price increase of raw materials, all of which make valve companies feel unprecedented operating pressure, especially those small-scale enterprises are even more unbearable.
In recent years, with the country's emphasis on environmental protection, sewage treatment projects in various regions have become an important market for the company. However, due to the small scale of the company, it can only pick some good engineering projects every year, and more orders cannot be taken over. It is difficult for small and medium-sized enterprises to grow bigger and stronger on their own, so they choose to form a group company with enterprises in the same industry that have their own advantages. This will not only help them get more orders, but also accelerate the development of the enterprise.
