The Development And Evolution Of Valve Standards And Future Trends
There are more than 2,300 valve export manufacturers in my country, and the exported products reach dozens of categories. Gate valves, butterfly valves, Lined Diaphragm Valve, stop valves, etc. are all general valves. There are about 3,500 varieties of exported products, about 40,000 specifications. Whether the exported products meet the international valve standards has become a "certificate" for measuring import and export trade. The international standards for various types of valves are different, so my country has actively adopted international advanced standards as an indicator of my country's valve industry. After years of research and exploration, the standards of my country's valves have undergone certain changes in the market trials and improvements.
Since my country adopted foreign advanced standards and ISO standards, the level of my country's valve standards has been improved to a certain extent. To a certain extent, the gap with developed countries has been reduced. Most standards are gradually approaching my country's valve standards, but some countries choose not to change the standard form temporarily because their own national conditions are not in line with China's national conditions.
However, the further integration of my country's valve standards and foreign valve standards is not smooth sailing. It has gone through a long market struggle. Since the construction and implementation of my country's long-distance pipeline projects, the valve industry has gradually paid attention to the API standards developed by the American Petroleum Institute. With the innovation capability and the openness of the market, my country's valves have not only narrowed the gap with the advanced technology of developed countries, but also surpassed the product quality of developed countries in some conventional products.
In terms of the development trend of valve standards, through the analysis of data, my country will continue to strengthen consultation and cooperation with advanced countries and increase research and support for key technical projects. In addition, energy conservation and environmental protection have always been the eternal development trend of countries and the world. We must save energy and reduce consumption and invent new materials. Finally, the standard safety requirements of valve products and valve safety will still be a focus of future valve business work.
