Rust Prevention And Maintenance Of Stainless Steel Fluorine-lined Ball Valves
During the production process, Lined Ball Valve is easy to contact with other metal iron products. In order to keep the stainless steel electric valve from rusting, the simple method is to follow the following process.
First: In the future, blank products must be cleaned after pickling. If there are sand holes or perforations, argon arc welding should be used for gas shielded welding. Then polish, and then perform solid solution treatment;
Second: After the product is processed and pressure tested. Use water to rinse with anti-rust powder.
Third: Try to use wooden box packaging during transportation and do not touch metal products.
Fourth: Equipment pipelines should be regularly protected in the future, such as the valve stem should be lubricated frequently. Open and close the valve several times appropriately. Make the inner ball, valve stem, and sealing surface not easy to assimilate.
Maintenance of stainless steel ball valves
Stainless steel electric ball valves generally have two structures: reduced diameter and non-reduced diameter channels. Regardless of the structure, the flow resistance coefficient of the ball valve is relatively small.
In particular, the so-called full-flow type, that is, the non-contracting ball valve, because its channel diameter is equal to the inner diameter of the pipeline, the local resistance loss is only the friction resistance of the pipeline of equal length, that is, among all valves, the flow resistance of the ball valve is the smallest. In rocket launch and its experimental system, the smaller the resistance of the transport pipeline, the better.

There are two ways to reduce the resistance of the pipeline system: one is to reduce the fluid flow, so it is necessary to increase the pipeline diameter and valve diameter, which often has an adverse effect on the economy of the pipeline system, especially for low-temperature transportation systems (liquid hydrogen).
(1) Reduce the local resistance of the valve, so the ball valve naturally becomes the best choice.
(2) The ball valve is quick and convenient to open and close.
Under normal circumstances, the ball valve only needs to roll the handle 90° to complete the full opening or full closing action, which is very simple to complete the rapid opening and closing. It can complete rapid opening and closing, and the opening and closing time of some structures is only 0.05~0.1s, ensuring that it can be used in the automation system of the laboratory bench. When the valve is opened and closed quickly, the operation is impact-free.
(3) The electric ball valve has good sealing performance.
At present, most ball valve seats are made of polytetrafluoroethylene and other elastic materials. The sealing pair composed of metal and non-metal materials is usually called soft seal. Generally speaking, the sealing performance of soft seal is simple, and the processing accuracy and appearance roughness of the seal appearance are not high.
(4) The service life of the ball valve is long.
Because polytetrafluoroethylene has excellent self-lubrication, the friction and wear with the ball are small. Due to the improvement of the ball processing technology, the roughness is reduced, thereby improving the service life of the ball valve.
