Rubber Lined Diaphragm Valve Fluorine Lined Diaphragm Valve Knowledge
Lined Diaphragm Valve is a special form of shut-off valve. Its opening and closing parts are a diaphragm made of soft material, which separates the inner cavity of the valve body from the inner cavity of the valve cover and the driving components, so it is called a diaphragm valve.
Diaphragm valves can be divided into weir diaphragm valves, direct-flow diaphragm valves, straight-through diaphragm valves and three-way diaphragm valves according to their structure.
Diaphragm valves can be divided into:
Rubber-lined diaphragm valves [lined with butyl rubber, lined with natural rubber, lined with EPDM, lined with chloroprene rubber, lined with nitrile rubber, lined with fluororubber, lined with silicone rubber, hard rubber, soft rubber];
Fluorine-lined diaphragm valves can withstand highly corrosive media such as hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, hydrofluoric acid, aqua regia, nitric acid, various organic acids, strong alkalis, strong oxidants, alternating concentrated and dilute acids, alternating acids and bases, organic solvents, except for molten alkali metals, elemental fluorine and aromatic hydrocarbons;
Acid-resistant enamel diaphragm valves; fluorine-free diaphragm valves.
Application and structural features: Diaphragm valves are used to control non-corrosive, generally corrosive and highly corrosive media. The inner surface of the valve body is unlined or covered with various fluoroplastics and rubbers that can be selected. It is suitable for various working temperatures and fluid pipelines.
1. Elastic sealing opening and closing parts ensure no internal leakage;
2. Streamlined flow channel, resulting in low pressure loss;
3. No stuffing box, so no external leakage;
4. The valve body and valve cover are separated by the middle diaphragm, so that the valve cover, valve stem and other parts above the diaphragm are not corroded by the medium;
5. The diaphragm can be replaced, and the maintenance cost is low;
6. The lining material is available in a variety of options, suitable for various media, and has good corrosion resistance;
