Matters Needing Attention In The Installation And Maintenance Of Pneumatic Butterfly Valves
In real life, Lined Butterfly Valve has been widely used. Pneumatic butterfly valves are usually composed of an angular stroke electric actuator and a butterfly valve as a whole through mechanical connection, and are installed and debugged together. Pneumatic butterfly valves are classified according to the action mode: switch type and regulating type. The following is a further description of pneumatic butterfly valves. Two major analysis of the key points of pneumatic butterfly valve installation: ① The installation position, height, and inlet and outlet directions must meet the design requirements. Note that the direction of medium flow should be consistent with the direction of the arrow marked on the valve body, and the connection should be firm and tight. ② The pneumatic butterfly valve must be inspected for appearance before installation, and the nameplate of the valve should comply with the provisions of the current national standard "General Valve Marking" GB12220. For valves with a working pressure greater than 1.0MPa and a cut-off function on the main pipeline, strength and tightness performance tests should be carried out before installation, and they can only be used after passing the test. During the strength test, the test pressure is 1.5 times the nominal pressure, and the duration is not less than 5min. The valve housing and packing should be leak-free to be qualified. Pneumatic butterfly valves can be divided into offset plate type, vertical plate type, inclined plate type and lever type according to the structural form. According to the sealing form, they can be divided into relatively sealed type and hard sealed type. Soft sealed type generally adopts rubber ring seal, and hard sealed type usually adopts metal ring seal. Pneumatic butterfly valves can be divided into flange connection and clamp connection according to the connection type; according to the transmission mode, they can be divided into manual, gear transmission, pneumatic, hydraulic and electric. Installation and maintenance of pneumatic butterfly valves: ① During installation, the valve disc should be stopped in the closed position. ② The opening position should be determined according to the rotation angle of the butterfly plate. ③ For butterfly valves with bypass valves, the bypass valve should be opened before opening. ④ Pneumatic butterfly valves should be installed according to the installation instructions of the manufacturer. Butterfly valves with heavy weight should be provided with a solid foundation.
