Introduction To The Characteristics Of Ptfe Lined Valves
Lined Valve is a valve with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) as the lining material. It has excellent corrosion resistance, wear resistance, high temperature resistance, low temperature resistance and other properties. It is widely used in petrochemical, metallurgy, power, papermaking, medicine and other industries.
PTFE-lined valves mainly include PTFE-lined butterfly valves, PTFE-lined ball valves, PTFE-lined gate valves, etc., and their characteristics are as follows:
1. Corrosion resistance: PTFE has good chemical inertness and can withstand most corrosive media such as acids, alkalis, salts, and organic solvents.
2. Wear resistance: PTFE has a low friction coefficient and good self-lubrication, so it has high wear resistance.
3. High and low temperature resistance: The operating temperature range of PTFE is -200℃~260℃. Even at low temperatures, it can maintain good mechanical properties and can meet the use requirements under low and high temperature conditions.
4. Good sealing performance: PTFE-lined valves use PTFE as a sealing material, which has good sealing performance and can achieve zero leakage.
