How To Maintain The Fluorine-lined Regulating Valve To Increase The Service Life Of The Equipment?
Due to its inherent particularity, Lined Globe Valve fluoroplastic or plastic lined corrosion-resistant valves and pipe accessories have the following characteristics in terms of product installation, maintenance and maintenance:
1. The flange cover of the valve or pipe fitting cannot be removed at will. Unless it is prepared to be connected to the pipeline, the PTFE flange surface may affect the seal due to temperature difference and foreign matter. If the cover is moved due to inspection needs, the cover must be reset after inspection to protect the PTFE flange surface.
2. When fluoroplastic or plastic lined valves and pipe fittings are connected to pipelines, gaskets are generally not used alone, but when connected to flange surfaces of different materials (metal surfaces, etc.), appropriate gaskets should be used to protect the PTFE flange surface
3. During system use, if leakage occurs under high conditions, the system temperature should be lowered to room temperature first, and then the cause should be found out and repaired.
4. Any high-temperature welding on valves and pipe fittings is not allowed to avoid damage to the lining layer.
5. The flange nuts should be tightened evenly in sequence along the diagonal line (symmetrically) and with appropriate torque:
(1) The flange sealing surface leaks and the nut at the leaking position has been tightened. At this time, the half-turn nut at the leaking position should be loosened and the opposite side should be tightened again with the same torque.
(2) If the above method does not stop the leak, check whether there are concave and convex indentations and scratches on the surface of the PTFE flange, and then use fine gauze paper and cloth to level and reconnect.
6. Valves and pipe fittings should be stored in a dry and ventilated room. Stacking is strictly prohibited.
7. The sealing pair of valves stored for a long time should be slightly opened and separated to avoid long-term pressure deformation, which affects the sealing performance and service life.
8. When manually operating the valve, do not use other levers to increase force to force the valve to open and close.
9. When installing valves with directional requirements, pay attention to the flow direction of the medium should be smaller than the arrow on the valve body, and ensure easy operation and maintenance.
