How to extend the service life of Lined Ball Valve?
It is mainly used to cut off, distribute and change the flow direction of the medium. It can be tightly closed by rotating 90° and small torque. There are many kinds of ball valves. For example, electric ball valves should not only pay attention to pipeline parameters, but also pay special attention to the environmental conditions of use. Since the electrical device in the electric valve is an electromechanical device, its use status is greatly affected by its use environment. So, how should the ball valve extend its service life?
In the ball valve, the opening and closing parts are driven by the valve stem and rotate around the ball valve axis. It can also be used for fluid regulation and control. Among them, the hard-sealed V ball valve V ball core and the surfacing hard alloy gold metal valve seat have strong shear force, which is particularly suitable for media containing fibers, small solid particles, etc.
1. Before use, clean the flow-through part of the pipeline and the valve body with water to prevent residual iron filings and other debris from entering the inner cavity of the valve body.
2. When the ball valve is closed, some medium will remain in the valve body and bear a certain pressure. Before repairing the ball valve, close the stop valve in front of the ball valve, open the ball valve to be repaired, and completely release the pressure in the valve body. If it is an electric ball valve or pneumatic ball valve, the power supply and gas source should be disconnected first.
3. The sealing material of the soft-sealed ball valve is generally polytetrafluoroethylene, and the sealing surface of the hard-sealed ball valve is made of metal surfacing. If you wash the pipeline ball valve, you should pay attention to prevent the sealing ring from being damaged and leaking when disassembling.
4. When disassembling the flange ball valve, you should first fix the bolts and nuts on the flange, then tighten all the nuts slightly, and then fix them with force. If you forcibly fix individual nuts first and then fix other nuts, the gasket surface between the flange surfaces will be damaged or cracked due to uneven internal stress, resulting in leakage of the valve flange outlet medium.
5. When cleaning the valve, the solvent used must not conflict with and corrode the accessories to be cleaned. If it is a gas ball valve, it can be cleaned with gasoline. Other parts are usually rinsed with recycled water. When cleaning, thoroughly clean the residual dust, oil stains and other attachments. If it cannot be cleaned with clean water, it can be cleaned with cleaning agents such as alcohol without damaging the valve body and parts. After cleaning, wait for the cleaning agent to completely evaporate before assembling.
6. If a slight leakage is found in the packing during use, the stem nut can be slightly tightened until the leakage stops, but further tightening is not allowed.
7. Long-term open-air storage will cause corrosion of the valve body and components and cannot be used normally. The ball valve should be rainproof, waterproof and moisture-proof, and the flange cover should be tightly closed. Valves that have been stored for more than 12 months should be retested during use to ensure stable performance.
