Lined Ball Valve Regulating Valve Fluoroplastic or Plastic Lined Corrosion-resistant Valves and Pipeline Accessories, due to their inherent special properties, have the following characteristics in terms of product installation, maintenance and care:

1. The valve or pipe flange cover cannot be disassembled at will, unless it is ready to be connected to the pipeline, otherwise the PTFE flange surface may be scratched or twisted due to temperature difference or foreign matter, which may affect the seal. If the cover is moved for inspection purposes, it must be reset quickly after the inspection to protect the PTFE flange surface.

2. When fluoroplastic or plastic lined valves and pipe fittings are connected to pipelines, gaskets are generally not used alone, but when they are connected to flange surfaces of different materials (metal surfaces, etc.), appropriate gaskets should be used to protect the PTFE flange surface.

3. If the product leaks at a high temperature during system use, the system temperature should be lowered to room temperature first, and then the cause should be found out and repaired.

4. No high-temperature welding is allowed on valves and pipe fittings to avoid permanent damage to the lining layer.

5. During installation, the flange nuts should be tightened evenly in sequence along the diagonal lines (symmetrically) and with appropriate torque:

(1) If the flange sealing surface leaks and the nut at the leaking position has been tightened, the nut at the leaking position should be loosened half a turn and tightened again with the same torque on the opposite side.

(2) If the above method still fails to stop the leak, check whether there are any concave and convex indentations or scratches on the PTFE flange surface. Then, use fine gauze paper or cloth to level it and reconnect it.

6. Valves and pipe fittings should be stored in a dry and ventilated room. Stacking is strictly prohibited.

7. The sealing pair of valves stored for a long time should be in a slightly open and separated state to avoid permanent deformation of the seal due to long-term pressure, which will affect the sealing performance and service life.

8. When manually operating the valve, it is not allowed to use other levers to force the valve to open or close.

9. When installing valves with directional requirements, pay attention to the flow direction of the medium should be in the direction indicated by the arrow on the valve body, and ensure easy operation and maintenance.

10. The repaired valve must be tested and qualified according to relevant standards before use before it can be installed.
