Features Of Electric Trunnion Mounted Ball Valves
Lined Ball Valve, suitable for long-distance pipelines and general industrial pipelines, its strength, safety, and resistance to harsh environments were specially considered during design, and it is suitable for various corrosive and non-corrosive media. Compared with the floating ball valve, when it is working, the force generated by the fluid pressure in front of the valve on the ball is completely transmitted to the bearing, and the ball will not move toward the valve seat, so the valve seat will not bear excessive pressure. Therefore, the fixed ball valve has small torque, small seat deformation, stable sealing performance, and long service life. It is suitable for high-pressure and large-caliber occasions. The advanced spring pre-seat assembly has self-tightening characteristics to achieve upstream sealing. Each valve has two valve seats, which can be sealed in each direction, so there is no flow restriction during installation, and it is bidirectional.
This valve has two valve body structures, two-piece and three-piece. The middle flange is connected by bolts. The seal is made of reinforced polytetrafluoroethylene embedded in the stainless steel ring. There is no spring at the back of the steel ring to ensure that the valve seat is close to the ball and maintains the seal. There are no PTFE bearings on the upper and lower valve stems to reduce friction and save effort in operation. There is no adjustment plate at the bottom of the small shaft to ensure the joint position of the ball and the sealing ring.

(1) Effortless operation: The ball is supported by upper and lower bearings to reduce friction and eliminate the excessive torque caused by the huge sealing load formed by the inlet pressure pushing the ball and the sealing seat.
(2) Reliable sealing performance: The PTFE single-element material sealing ring is embedded in the stainless steel valve seat, and a spring is provided at the tail end of the metal valve seat to ensure sufficient pre-tightening force of the sealing ring. When the sealing surface of the valve is worn during use, the valve continues to ensure good sealing performance under the action of the spring.
(3) Fireproof structure: In order to prevent the PTFE sealing ring from burning due to sudden heat or fire, causing large leakage and fueling the fire, a fireproof sealing ring is provided between the ball and the valve seat. When the sealing ring burns, the spring force quickly pushes the valve seat sealing ring onto the ball to form a metal-to-metal seal, which has a certain degree of sealing effect. The fire resistance test meets the requirements of APl 6FA and APl 607 standards.
(4) Automatic pressure relief function: When the pressure of the medium stagnant in the valve cavity rises abnormally and exceeds the preload of the spring, the valve seat retreats and separates from the ball to achieve the effect of automatic pressure relief. After the pressure is relieved, the valve seat automatically resets.
(5) Drainage pipeline: Drain holes are set on the upper and lower parts of the valve body to check whether the valve seat is leaking. During operation, when the valve is fully open or fully closed, the pressure in the middle cavity can be discharged and the packing can be directly replaced; the retained materials in the middle cavity can be discharged to reduce the contamination of the valve by the medium. (6) This valve is designed with an auxiliary valve seat emergency sealing system. Once the seal is damaged or an emergency situation occurs and the seal cannot be sealed, the corresponding sealant can be injected into the sealing surface through the auxiliary sealing system to repair the sealing surface and achieve emergency sealing. When the conveyed medium is unclean or contains a small amount of particles, in order to protect the sealing surface and ensure reliable sealing, the corresponding cleaning agent or lubricant can also be injected into this device to clean the sealing surface.
(7) It is widely used in the cutting or circulation of media in pipelines for food, medicine, petroleum, chemical industry, natural gas, steel, environmental protection, papermaking, etc. The device can also be injected with corresponding cleaning agents or lubricants to clean the sealing surface.
