There are many types of Lined Valve, including PTFE-lined ball valves, PTFE-lined butterfly valves, etc., so are these valves resistant to high temperatures?

PTFE-lined valves can withstand high temperatures. At present, the operating temperature of valves made of this material can reach 180 degrees Celsius, while other types of fluoro-lined valve products can generally only reach 150 degrees Celsius.

PTFE-lined valves can be used in places with harsh working conditions, but we must also pay attention to the correct use method during use:

1. When using, prevent the PTFE-lined valve from generating excessive pipeline stress due to temperature changes, minimize temperature changes, and add U-shaped expansion joints before and after the valve

2. It is forbidden to use a lever to open and close the fluoro-lined valve. Pay attention to the opening and closing indicator position and limit device of the PTFE-lined valve. After opening and closing, do not force it to close to avoid premature damage to the fluoroplastic sealing surface.

3. During the use of PTFE-lined valves, the fluoroplastic sealing surface is soft in texture, and the sealing surface is often damaged by medium crystallization and solid particles, resulting in sealing leakage. Repair or replace the seal in time after discovery.
4. Some PTFE-lined valves are partially opened during use to adjust the flow rate. High-speed media causes premature damage to the sealing surface. In this case, the seals must be replaced in time.
